Your trust matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit or shop at choiceup.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it as simple as we can, and we collect only what we need.

choiceup.com is owned and operated by ChoiceUp, LLC ("ChoiceUp," "we," "us"). ChoiceUp, Inc., at choiceup.org, is a separate 501(c)(3) nonprofit with its own privacy policy. Donations to the nonprofit are covered by choiceup.org's policy, not this one.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you contact us: your name, email address, and anything you include in your message, whether you use our contact form or email us.
When you sign up for emails: your email address and, if you share it, your name. Our email list is managed through MailChimp.
When you place an order: your name, email address, shipping address, and order details.
Payment information
Apparel payments are processed securely at checkout through Printful. We don't see or store your full card number.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, our website platform (Squarespace) and Google Analytics collect basic technical information. This can include your browser and device type, general location (such as city or country), the pages you visit, and how you arrived at the site.
Activity book purchases on Amazon
When you buy an activity book, you complete your purchase on Amazon. We don't receive your payment or shipping information from those orders. Amazon's privacy notice applies to them.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to:
Process, ship, and support your orders.
Answer your questions and messages.
Send emails you've signed up for. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe.
Understand how people use the site so we can improve it.
Protect the site and meet our legal obligations.
4. How we share your information
We don't sell or rent your personal information.
We share it only with the service providers that help us run the site and fill orders, and only as much as they need to do that work:
Squarespace, which hosts our website and online store.
Printful, which processes apparel payments and makes and ships our shirts and hats. Printful receives your name, shipping address, payment, and order details.
Google, which provides Google Analytics.
MailChimp, which manages our email list, if you sign up.
Our nonprofit, ChoiceUp, Inc. ChoiceUp, LLC and ChoiceUp, Inc. are separate organizations that share one mission. We may share your name and email address with ChoiceUp, Inc. so it can tell you about its programs and ways to support the mission. We never share payment information. ChoiceUp, Inc. uses this information only as described in its privacy policy at choiceup.org, and you can unsubscribe from its emails at any time. To ask us not to share your information, email support@choiceup.com.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business.
5. Cookies
Cookies are small files that help websites work and remember your preferences. Our site uses cookies to run the store and shopping cart, keep the site secure, and understand how visitors use it. We use Google Analytics, which uses cookies to show us how visitors find and use the site. You can read how Google uses this information and opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you do, some parts of the site, like checkout, may not work.

Emails: Click "unsubscribe" at the bottom of any email, or write to us.
Your information: You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we have about you. Email support@choiceup.com and we'll respond as soon as we can.
Where you live: Depending on your state or country, you may have additional privacy rights. We'll honor requests as the law requires.
7. Children's privacy
This site is meant for adults. Our activity books are made for kids, but they're purchased by parents and other adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we'll delete it.
8. How we protect and keep your information
We use the security tools built into our website and service providers to protect your information. No website can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe. We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, or as long as the law requires.

Our site links to other sites, such as Amazon, Printful, and choiceup.org. Their privacy practices are their own, so please review their policies.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll post the new version here and update the effective date.
